Emmett Waterfall is a small hidden waterfall/weir along the Humber River in Toronto’s Weston–Mount Dennis area, near St. John’s Cemetery on the Humber. It’s one of the few “waterfall-like” spots inside the city itself. The site is open 24 hours and is popular for short walks, photography, and riverside trails.
What to expect:
- More of a scenic river drop/weir than a large natural waterfall
- Best after rainfall or during spring runoff
- Quiet urban nature atmosphere with Humber River trails nearby
- Good for a short visit rather than a full-day hike
Nearby areas you can combine with it:
- Raymore Park trail system along the Humber River
- Humber River Recreation Trail
- Eglinton Flats park area
