Kashechewan is a remote Cree First Nation community located in the James Bay Lowlands of northern Ontario, along the Albany River system

Kashechewan sits in one of the most isolated and flood-prone regions in the province, surrounded by flat muskeg, rivers, and tundra-like wetlands.
It feels extremely remote — similar in isolation level to places like Peawanuck or Attawapiskat.
