Marie Curtis Park

Marie Curtis Park feels like a hidden transition point between Toronto and Mississauga — more natural than most city waterfront parks, and deeply connected to the lake.

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Season: Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring

The park sits where Etobicoke Creek flows into Lake Ontario, creating a mix of beach, marshland, wooded trails, open lawns, and waterfront pathways. It has a softer, less urban atmosphere compared with Humber Bay Park East. Instead of dramatic skyline views, Marie Curtis Park offers calm nature scenery, gentle lake sounds, and long uninterrupted walks along the Waterfront Trail.

One of its best features is the waterfront walking and cycling trail system. The paved trail connects directly into the larger Martin Goodman and Waterfront Trail networks, making it popular for:
- Long bike rides
- Jogging
- Rollerblading
- Peaceful lakeside walks

The vibe is:
- Laid-back
- Local
- Breezy
- Less crowded than downtown waterfront parks
