Located on the Lakeview waterfront, the building was constructed in 1940 as part of a major wartime munitions complex that manufactured rifles and other small arms for the Canadian military during and after the Second World War.
Today, the restored building serves as a creative arts and cultural hub, hosting exhibitions, performances, workshops, community events, and public programs.
